- Truly inspirational read that came up during a brainstorming meeting this week with some AIGA folks... look for some form of this coming to fruition in the Pgh design community this upcoming year. Thanks to Phil Mollenkof for bringing this to the table and for forwarding it after our session:

- "Brand Babblers," link via Digital Tonto: I was just discussing this topic with a fellow marketing friend on Wednesday. It's so much easier/better to update a look & feel for a product/service/event that has substance. Most clients want to go the other way around and attempt to add substance with a look & feel update, which people see right through. Consumers are not idiots, contrary to popular belief:

- Kudos to Crème Fraiche Design for this gem... as an introvert by nature, often more content being alone and even needing some serious solitude from time to time to recharge, this article was quite reassuring and insightful:

Links: The Week in Review
I've come across a number of great reads this week. There are so many blog articles that could be written around each one, but I want to get them out there sooner rather than later. Happy Friday, if you aren't already on Memorial Day vacation (I know, mentally, I have been gone since Wednesday:) and enjoy:
